On behalf of the Organizing Committee of The 2015 Materials Challenges in Alternative and Renewable Energy Conference (MCARE 2015), we cordially invite you to participate in this exciting, interdisciplinary conference. The MCARE 2015 organized by the Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers (KIChE) and American Ceramic Society (ACerS) will be held at Lotte Hotel, Jeju, Korea for the period of February 24-27, 2015. This top-of-the-line conference builds on the success of four previous conferences held in 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014 in the United States.
Building a sustainable energy system represents one of the mega-challenges of our times that have triggered a quest for alternative energy solutions both in academia and industry. MCARE 2015 is designed to bring together leading global experts from universities, industry, R & D laboratories and government agencies, thus providing a unique opportunity for communication and collaboration essential to propel a multi-disciplinary dialogue on innovative and sustainable solutions in the field of alternative and renewable energy. This cutting-edge international conference will feature plenary, keynote and invited talks, thematically focused technical sessions and poster presentations enabling the delegates to network and exchange ideas with their professional peers and acclaimed experts.
MCARE 2015 plans to shoot for 400+ oral presentations in Hydrogen Energy, Solar Power and Concentrators, Materials Challenges in Fuel Cells, Materials for Next Generation Photovoltaics, Self-Power Generators, Batteries and Energy Storage, Materials Challenges in Nuclear Energy, Critical Materials for Energy, and Energy Efficient Printing and Additive Manufacturing Technologies. In addition, special activities for young professionals and interested participants are planned to enhance the awareness on materials challenges in alternative and renewable energy sources.
